Casa Lume

Casa Lume began with a single instruction from the clients: build a house that disappears into its hillside and reappears only in the quality of its light. The result is a low, courtyard-organized residence of lime-washed masonry that reads almost monastic from the lane, and opens fully toward a private, pine-shaded terrace.

Every room is oriented around the sun's path rather than a fixed view — mornings gather in the kitchen court, afternoons retreat to deep-loggia bedrooms, and evenings open the entire ground floor to the terrace and pool beyond.
