Atelier Noir — Architecture & Interior Design

Architecture shapedby atmosphere.

We design private residences, boutique hospitality, and commercial spaces around three instruments: light, material, and proportion — for clients who experience architecture as atmosphere first.

The Studio

We design atmosphere, not just space.

Atelier Noir is a boutique architecture and interior design studio founded on a simple premise: that the feeling of a space — its light, its temperature, its silence — matters as much as its plan.

Working across luxury residential, hospitality, and commercial projects for clients around the world, we hold every project to the same discipline: restraint in form, honesty in material, and total attention to how a space will actually be inhabited.

Philosophy

Light. Material. Proportion.

Every project at Atelier Noir is built from the same three instruments. We believe the discipline is not in adding more, but in knowing precisely what each space requires — and withholding everything else.

01

Light

We design the path of the sun through a building before we design its walls — orienting rooms, openings, and materials to a specific quality of daylight rather than a generic one.

02

Material

A restrained material palette, honestly applied and allowed to age, does more for a space than any amount of decoration. We choose few materials and use them everywhere.

03

Proportion

The relationship between a ceiling and a window, a threshold and a room, determines how a space feels long before anyone notices what it's made of. Proportion is where our work begins.
